Dolce Group owns several restaurants in the Los Angeles area that are not only well known for their food, but also for the celebrities who dine there. Makes sense since the company has investors such as Ashton Kutchner and Wilmer Valderrama.
But with these special discount deals, budget travelers can enjoy the great food and atmosphere of these expensive restaurants while saving 50 percent off the check.
Dolce Enoteca e Ristorante
Dolce’s signature restaurant serves up a mixture of traditional and modern Italian dishes in a hip décor of black and brown leather booths with dark wood accents. Signature dishes include pumpkin ravioli, seared scallops with lobster mashed potatoes and veal saltimbocca.
Risotto and pasta entrees average $17 to $25 per plate; meat and seafood entrees range from $23 to $55. But dine at Dolce on Monday nights and enjoy a wonderful Italian meal for a 50% food discount.

Bella Cucina Italiana
Enjoy more Italian food with a visit to Bella, which serves Southern Italian cuisine in a trattoria setting. Signature dishes include veal scallopine, osso bucco and chicken parmigiana.
Appetizers, soups and salads start at $8; pasta and risotto dishes at $14. Main dish entrees start at $18. Dine at Bella on Tuesdays to receive a hefty 50% off the food.

Ketchup
This moderately-priced restaurant takes the American diner concept upscale with signature dishes such as “Barking Dogs” (two mini kobe beef hot dogs smothered in kobe beef chili, melted cheddar cheese and homemade ketchup) and “Beer Can Chicken” (chicken braised in PBR beer served with garlic mashed potatoes and carmelized onion).
The atmosphere pays homage to the classic diner but amps it up with plasma TVs on the walls and a soundtrack of rock-n-roll classics. Even the martini menu uses classic American items like Kool-Aid, Yoo Hoo and Tang for innovative twists on the classic drink.
Appetizers and salads start at $8; burgers at $11. Main dishes, which include everything from traditional chicken and seafood to filet of bison in a root-beer glaze average $16 to $26.
If that’s a bit rich for the budget, chow down at Ketchup on Sunday nights for the 50 percent discount.

Geisha House
Sushi and sake are the centerpieces of this modern-style upscale Japanese restaurant and lounge that is very popular with LA’s celebrity crowd.
Appetizers, soups and small salads start at $4. Tempura dishes average $12 to $16, as do Udon noodle dishes. Sushi, sashimi and various other rolls start at $6, with most averaging $12 to $18.
Sunday nights, the restaurant offers at 50 percent discount off all bottles of sake and wine, instead of food.
